Reach out to the community for testers

Ask for testers from the community that will/do use the site. Go out and seek people with different technological and physical capabilites and needs and build up a strong and diverse user testing base for invaluable, direct, practical feedback.

Harnessing e-newsletters

Organisations should get e-newsletters working for them and the user:

- Make it easy for users to sign up from any page, get tailored info, manage subscriptions

- Actively engage the audience in consultations on that subject, user testing of those pages, growing the userbase etc
